WIND VEHICLE FROM ALLAH

    Prophet Sulaiman has 20 thousand horses which are very strong. The horses were used by Prophet Sulaiman for preaching (Dakwah). Prophet Sulaiman loved his horses very much. Because of his love for taking care of these horses, Prophet Sulaiman was negligent and forgot to worship Allah ﷻ.

    When the Prophet Solomon realized his negligence, he swore, "In the name of Allah, these horses should not make me negligent and forget to worship Allah". This oath was carried out by the prophet Sulaiman to be protected from the negligent nature of worship due to the horses. Allah ﷻ then ordered Prophet Sulaiman to slaughter all of his horses. Prophet Solomon's love for Allah exceeded his love for anything other than Him. One proof of his love was that he obeyed Allah's commandment ﷻ to slaughter all his horses.

    Prophet Sulaiman's obedience and love for Allah ﷻ were then rewarded. Allah ﷻ then ordered the wind to blow following the order of Prophet Solomon. And even that wind became Prophet Sulaiman's personal vehicle. A better and faster vehicle than the horses. Prophet Sulaiman really obeyed and loved Allah ﷻ.

Wisdom and lesson: Allah ﷻ will reward with something better for His servants who show love and obedience to Allah ﷻ

Translation: 

KENDARAAN ANGIN DARI ALLAH

    Nabi Sulaiman AS memiliki 20 ribu ekor kuda yang sangat kuat. Kuda-kuda itu digunakan oleh Nabi Sulaiman AS untuk berdakwah. Nabi Sulaiman sangat mencintai kuda-kudanya itu. Saking cintanya mengurus kuda-kuda tersebut, Nabi Sulaiman pernah lalai dan lupa beribadah kepada Allah ﷻ.

     Ketika Nabi Sulaiman AS menyadari kelalaiannya, ia bersumpah, “Demi Allah, kuda-kuda ini tidak boleh membuatku lalai dan lupa untuk beribadah kepada Allah ﷻ ”. Sumpah ini dilakukan nabi Sulaiman agar terlindungi dari sifat lalai beribadah akibat kuda-kuda itu. Allah ﷻ kemudian memerintahkan Nabi Sulaiman untuk menymebelih seluruh kuda-kudanya. Cinta Nabi sulaiman kepada Allah melebihi kecintaannya terhadap hal apapun selain-Nya. Salah satu bukti kecintaanya adalah ia menuruti perintah Allah ﷻ agar menyembelih seluruh kuda-kudanya.

      Ketaatan dan kecintaan Nabi Sulaiman kepada Allah ﷻ kemudian mendapatkan balasan. Allah ﷻ lalu memerintahkan angin untuk berhembus mengikuti perintah Nabi Sulaiman. Dan angin itupun menjadi kendaraan pribadi Nabi Sulaiman. Kendaraan yang lebih baik dan lebih cepat dibandingkan kuda-kudanya. Nabi Sulaiman benar-benar ta’at dan cinta kepada Allah ﷻ.

Hikmah : Allah ﷻ akan memberikan balasan dengan sesuatu yang lebih baik bagi hamba-Nya yang menunjukan kecintaan dan keta’atannya kepada Allah ﷻ
