1. Be- The Present Simple Tense

 

1.1 Be-(are/am/is)

Formula:

Subject + Be

Be ---> am/are/is

I + am = I am a student

You/We/They+ are = You are beautiful/We are champions/They are busy

He/She/It + is = He is at school


Examples:

1. You are smart                              5. She is at the school

2. I am Happy                                  6. We are hungry

3. He is a teacher                            7. They are students

4. It is rain

Usage: Be

Be + Noun                  

Be + Adjective            

Be + Preposition       

Be + Verb
